Obi Wan is made a Jedi Knight, and Anakin is taken as Qui Gon’s next Padawan.Īs Anakin grew, Qui Gon was there for him as a father figure. After more fighting, Darth Maul realises they are in a stalemate and retreats, believing the fight to not be worth the hassle.Īfter the duel, Qui Gon and Obi Wan return to Coruscant. Maul jabs at Qui Gon as he’s open, Obi Wan looks on in terror, certain that the Sith has landed a killing blow, as Qui Gon dives to the floor, avoiding the stab and defending himself long enough for Obi Wan to rejoin them once the Ray shield drops. Eventually, a Ray shield separates Obi Wan from the battle, leaving Qui Gon to fend for himself. During the battle, they encounter a Sith by the name of Darth Maul.
Qui Gon Jin and his Padawan Obi Wan Kenobi help the Queen of Naboo and her men to reclaim the palace in the planet’s capital, Theed.
